Hedir Review : List of 453 directories

I keep a list of directories that are sortable by PR at
http://www.topwebsitetips.com/FreeLinks-Directories.aspx. There are also some articles on how to best submit to them.

But I think Hedir also has one nice list of directories at http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about52.html It is another thing that we did not get any update of the list by last one or two months.

Nice Idea. Hedir allows you to publish their list to your website.

If you do though, you might not want to put them all on one page. Google suggests no more than 100 links to a page. You also need to be careful you don't make it look like a link farm.

It's a nice feature to offer your client's if your site is SEO based.

I add or edit directories on my list close to daily.

Yes, the list has not been updated for last one month, due to other priorities. It will be updated from next week and new directories will be added every week.
I invite you all to send us good directories to add to this list. Let us make it a useful resource for webmasters.

I've also added lists of Article submission sites, Press release sites, and some of the more SEO friendly forums to www.topwebsitetips.com.

How about making this list through a category named Internet directories? People can suggest new directories there and our category based review system will allow us to review those directories faster.

Each category at hedir is generating a rss feed, so the list goes dynamic and the whole world can integrate the ranked list on their websites. Another help to internet community.

What does the community say?

Interesting Idea. It takes a lot of time to update these lists to keep them accurate.

I'll look over your directory to see if it will be feasible to use it as my database and still offer the features and filters I want to add to the lists when I display them on my site.

For anyone using this directory list to submit your website to directories, I have an article at http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about11545.html, that can greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to hand submit to directories.

Up to 476 directories in my list now. Very Happy

I think the list is great. What bothers me the most is lists that have outdated directories in them. This one appears to be very fresh!

Thanks FrogEngineSearch, I try to keep it up to date. I currently have 553 directories listed. My major clean out normally happens right after Google updates PR's, which I think they are about to do.
