February 27, 2012 Coconut Creek, Florida - www.DebtPlan.org is now using Facebook at Twitter to get their message out to the public and to build Client loyalty.  Debtplan.org is a "debt lead" producing site that offers an informational blog.  DebtPlan.org has been online almost ten years and it ranks well for many relevant search terms.  DebtPlan.org and other websites are a key marketing tool designed to reach out to debt-ridden consumers.  DebtPlan.org is operated by Federated Financial.

Federated Financial was established in 1997.  Their goal was to teach consumers how to understand and manage their debt so that they can achieve and maintain financial security.  Federated Financial was among the first agencies in the United States to obtain ISO 9001 registration. ISO, or International Standard Organization, is an association recognized worldwide for its required implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS).

Debt Plan.org now has a twitter page and Facebook fan page.  Update at the site are broadcast so Clients and followers can get up-to-date information about current financial issues.  Site is using a toolbar from Wibiya to connect DebtPlan.org to their social media content.

Promoter of DebtPlan.org claims "Every business has to deal with social media now.  People spend so much time on sites like Facebook that if you are not active there, you are less relevant to your site visitors.  Social media serves a dual purpose- keeping in touch with current Clients, and creating interest in your site with prospective Clients ".

Federated Financial is concerned about how high unemployment rates and slow economic growth have harmed consumers with significant credit card debt exposure.  It is their hope that many can avoid filing bankruptcy and get the help they need.  DebtPlan.org will put more of these individuals in touch with a credit counselor that can explain some options.  Credit counseling is not the best solution for every consumer, but for many, it can make a world of difference.
