Please help me improve the document. I will also put my thoughts after sometime. It is a tough job to get one web hosting company with a good customer service. Our current hosting company is very good at that and I will like to share my experience with the whole community. I am sure we all have some good and bad experiences with the hosting companies.

I will be adding few more. Please add more and more hosting company sites. We will work this whole month on it and will try to get the best ones.

But do a complete scrutiny as Hedir should not just look at the site but the overall service. I have mailed the hosting company to find out their response time. Checking their business it detail to get the best resources.
People if we can take this challenge and find out the best hosting companies then we can say that Hedir is on right track to challenge the bigger Directories and Search Engines.
I am ready to take up the challenge. The most important factor is the guideline, we will have to improve the document started by Norah.

Nooooo!!! Startlogic is the worst! I tried them because they offered a bunch of services and a 90 day money back garuantee for $2.95/month. After I gave all of my purchase info and pressed submit, I was informed that the $2.95 was only for the first 2 months, then it was $7.95/month. There was absolutely nothing on the site to tell me that beforehand.
So, I decided to use the moneyback garauntee to cancel, called them up and got someone who rudely argued with me about not cancelling. He finally said OK, but didn't cancel it! Several tries and no cancellation! My card got billed and I'm still out the money!
To add insult to injury, when the term expired, they automatically renewed it and billed my card! I finally got it cancelled, but still got ripped off for the initial charge.

You should contest the charge with the credit card company. May not really be worth the effort for a few bucks, but it also puts a stain on their record with the company. Enough chargebacks can cost them thier account.

Add a new section so we can put each host in it's own thread, that way if you have a question or experience with a host it's easy to find.
Encourage, polls so you can check at a glance whether most people have had good or bad experiences.

You are right, of course. I did drop the ball on that part of it. I kept waiting for the credit, figured they were just dragging their feet, and time just kept marching on...
