Hi Guys/Gals,
With the directory, how do you go about making a new sub category suggestion. I've been looking around to find the right place for a Television series, and under news and media, there just doesn't seem to be a 100% correct category to slot it into... _________________ Web Development Cape Town
It was Bret or one of the admin that said we would need a few sites submitted that would work for the same type of category so that a category could be invented. You will want to have Josh answer this I'm sure.
I may not be able to answer it properly as category creation and their maintenance is done by Anthony and his team. How far I know, Brett can send a pm to anthony while requesting to create a sub-category. I preffer Brett should also suggest a name for the category.
IMO creating a sub-category depends on the necessity for that category. If there are few site submitted which may best fits in the suggested category and also some member from our community suggested for that category. Then that new suggested category is being created.

We do need a category for blog only sites by themself.
Are you sure? In other directories often they have a topic just for blogs. So you get SEO blogs, Mom's vacation blog, product advert blogs and a mishmosh of blogs that bear no relation to each other except that they are blogs.

It does not happen instantly - they have a big workload. But if your request is accepted, it will get done.
- Please suggest a new category only if you have several (more than 1 or 2) sites that can be moved there or added to the directory. There is no value to the user to find topics with only a couple of sites listed.
