I've spent some time today reviewing what, to me, are obvious "garbage sites." I've noticed a few other sites which are still open for review despite the fact that they are obviously affiliates, etc.
Can I suggest that the mods/admins just automatically deny any site which clearly doesn't meet the Hedir submission criteria? There are literally hundreds of submissions in the forum which could probably be blasted out in no time if people float them to the top with a negative review of how they don't meet Hedir criteria. We need to eliminate these if there is any hope of the legitimate sites not getting buried, and in order not to discourage submitters and reviewers alike!
I did mention about junk submission sometime back in another thread.
What I suggested then was to have a SPAM button in the review thread. If it is SPAM, reviewer click it and a PM is send to mod or admin. Then the mod or admin can perfrom housekeeping.
This save mod and admin time in hunting for spam submission. It increases responsivness of control. From the look of it, this spam button alert method seems easier to implement then a queue review system under discussion in the other thread.
It is of some encouragement that reviewers are back and there is some life in the forum. _________________ Cheers!

Great idea Redhex. Short of that it means a lot of PMs! _________________ Matt

BTW, who is doing spam submission removal now? Is it the mod or the admin? Baggeroli or Norah and company?
I asking because if the spam button feature cannot be implementated in a timely manner or will not be implemented, I feel that it is within the goodwill of any reviewer to PM the authority of spam submission so that action can be taken. It saves everyone time, reviewers and admin time as well. If it cannot be automated, it have to be manual.
redhex, spam report button is in my list of todos.
