We all understand that we need to get 10 yes votes to approve a site.. What about voting down a site?? Is this even possible?? HOw does the system work for taking sites out of the review process simply because the community agrees that they need to go??

Which leads to this question.. Instead of not voting yes / no on a site and posting "waiting for changes" why not allow the votes to be changed?? This would allow people to place no votes on sites that simply aren't ready to be listed, but change their votes if the proper changes are made??

This has the added benefits of putting some pressure on the submitter to improve their site in a timely manner or face having the site removed from consideration..

Which leads to the last thing I have a question on, how are resubmissions handled?? Are they even tracked?? Say a site is rejected for some reason, changes are made and they ask for another chance, how is that all supposed to work??

It's my understanding that 5 no votes, will cause you to be moved to the rejected section. It would be nice if this was automatic, seems like a waste of reviewers time to continue to have people say no to a site because it didn't get moved.

Yes with the new review system where Hedir points will act as vote weight and the weighted value can push the site down the queue.

We are looking forward for a better documentation of review policies through wikis (since AjiNIMC has already discovered the link Sad )

Norah, let us not talk about new systems. I have proposed some changes to the current one over here http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about11215.html

Anything we do will be just modifications to the existing system.
