How often spidering is needed? Is there any specification with respect to time? Ex: Two visits/month or one visit/week?

Is it true that frequent spidering is important for high ranking?

If spiders visits my page very frequently and find all pages are same as it was on its last visit. How it will affect my site?

Spiders like fresh content as we do and they do not want outdated pages to be indexed. Therefore, they will visits more often to index new contents. Same thing will happen if we change our keyword density or page layout very frequently. However, this can bring an unexpected and incorrect effect.
Because brand image and its consistency play important role in visitors mind. Frequent changes in site logo or images may create some wrong impression in visitors mind.

If spiders like big daddy likes fresh content then why it is sending articles written on 2001-2002 on hot SEO topic. Or, there is no research has been done on those entire SEO related topic anymore.

Then what the use of writing fresh content and why people are so concerned about frequent crawling of their site……I do not know. Am I lacking something.....any relevant knowledge?

fresh content would be
*news
*articles
*new products displayed on your frontpage and a new addition to a product page
*some sites display the latest links added or newest forum posts

I have a site that I designed that hasn't had a change made to the frontpage since 2001. The product pages change everyday though. New products are added and some are taken away. The site has been number 1 for its niche since 2001. It is in competition with PetSmart and has been for years. PetSmart being just below them at #2.

Unless you choose to, you do not have to change the homepage to be crawled for fresh content, but a few sidepages wouldn't hurt if at all possible.

During “IBL” quality checking I have found people, is very much concern about the occurrence of last crawling? If the site crawled long back then it is considered that site may not be a good one, as a result site is not getting much importance from big G. Is it a true concept? Moreover, why are we so much concern about getting importance from big G and why not from our customer? So which is needed? A site for big G or a site for my customer?

And regarding *news, *articles, *products that has to be ever changing and all time fresh without considering big G. Because I cannot expect same news and same images, each day in my morning newspaper and the same is applicable for an online news provider too. This concept goes true for blogs world too. I have found that recently created pages go up during site:anydomain.com checking. May be these leads to believe people that content that is more recent will rank well. Therefore, with grammatical changes have the same content as a fresh one. So keep on changing without doing any research……… How funny!
