Hedir Review : Does it get counted as duplicate content

Hi guys,

Had a question about article submission in hedir forums. If i submit content from my web site into the forums then is there any possiblity of being penalosed as duplicate content by search engine giants?

Please throw some light on this topic.

I do have some good quality artcles on varied subjetswhich i was considering of submitting here.

IMO your content won't outweigh the rest of the content in the page and the coding source wont match.
Its only when most of the page is the same.
That just my opinion though.

Google is looking more for pages that are exactly the same. So I believe penalized is the wrong word for what might happen.

If Google finds pages that are very similar they will try not to display all of them. To illustrate, I have articles that have been used on hundreds of sites. When you search and come up with my article the search doesn't show every time my article was used. Google filtered the similar versions out. If I have the article on my site, it may or may not show in the search.

Putting reprint articles on your site (even if you were the original) should only be done to provide useful information for the visitor, don't count on it helping you in the serps.

To help in the serps have original content on your site. Sometimes I get visitors from the serps because of reprints but I don't count on it.

Providing articles for Article submission sites and places like Hedir help you by passing PR to your site via the signature, and by people coming to your site directly from the article.
