Cannot Find Server or DNS Error is related to your connection to the host. Somewhere between you and the host, something lost its connectivity. This is usually the fault of the host, but sometimes can be related to other things (gateway timing out, etc.)
In this case though, it's probably one of two possibilities:
1) A problem with the host itself, in which case a new host is in order. The reviews I'm reading on A Small Orange aren't really conclusive one way or the other. They're about 50/50 good vs. bad.
2) A problem with the coding on the site (no offense, Josh, since I don't know PHP nor do I know your coding abilities.) If the site is coded inefficiently or creates enough errors, it will put a strain on the server which can knock it out.
I know I've been guilty of this once (an ad script that calculated a value based on a complex formula to the 15th decimal place approx. 200 times), so I wouldn't knock anyone else that is. But it's a possibility.
Basically, I can't speculate either way.
The only thing I could suggest is to put HEDir on a new host that is known for stability and reliability and see how it handles. _________________ HEDir's Prince of Cool

So I guess
- the notification mail sends me sometimes on the "Wrong Track",
the URL with groupthink in it, while correct without it;
- once I'm on that track the groupthink thingy propagates
- some later URL somewhere (I think) makes really real
problems and downs, maybe the whole server
- when does the URL change ?

I can't see when:
Most of the threads started by "lakhya", but not all, have some
name as filename and NO groupthink, instead of about{###}. _________________ --Norbert, coming in from http://www.sitelibrary.net/
We are using descriptive urls for most part of the forum. But there are some areas where the module to convert dynamic to static urls is not applied yet. So you get these urls like http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/viewtopic.php?p=26336#26336 .
Thanks for pointing it out. We will solve this problem soon.
