Since I am new to this forum I have to ask, how do you let people post junk like that?

masteri5: I will have to direct you to ask that question to one of the Admin. I have no control over Guest posting. I simply have to work around the guest posting problem and try to find the best solution for the situation. That would be my point.

Someone must have removed the offending post. My comments were directed at them, not at anyone here.

Sorry if my post sounded frustrated. I am at these forums to get help and advice and like so many others when I see junk like that post it just defeats the entire reason for the visit.

I guess we can control our own actions but have little over those of others.

Keep up the good work, these forums are, for the most part, very informative and helpful.

We have allowed guest posting for one section as some people do not want to force people to signup to ask questions. We keep deleting the spamming posts to keep the forums clean.

We are trying to build a brand out of Hedir, with the brand a trust factor as well. Once the trust factor is there, people will be able to signup without any second thought. We are also trying to put the email confirmation layer for all new users to avoid spammers.
