I often feel that I am not a good searcher in terms searching information in SE giants like google, yahoo and msn. Whatever I search for, I get less relevant result. Do you get the same or more. Can you please give some hints ? So that I can get more relevant results for my search keyphrase.
I put this in a quote tag because it seems to be easier to read. Atleast to me it does.

Sometimes different approaches come with what the search terms actually are.
I agree on the Quotes being first if it is a known phrase to be connected as in "Gold Watches"
Now I wanted to find a certain type of "Gold Watch"
I want to find ones that may be Antique or Vintage
I'll show you two variations, but they do the same thing.
Search is:
"Gold Watches" Antique|Vintage <--- first version is using the pipe as OR
"Gold Watches" Antique OR Vintage <--- second version is using OR
Like I said, both are the same thing. One is just using the pipe.
You will now get results that do not ask for the page to have both Antique and Vintage to be on the same page as each other while connected to Gold Watches.
So you get some pages with only Vintage Gold Watches and some with only Antique Gold Watches in the results.
One more item to end with although there are so many different ways for searching. Ever get sick of junk results or the same site that keeps coming up? This one seems like a well known one, but it still has its uses.
"gold watches" -pricegrabber -jcpenney - fingerhut -walmart
You can add up to 10 items in a search on Google
Search on Google is:
Jewelry intitle:"add|submit * url|site|link"|"submit|add url"
Only allows a 2 word phrase at most and it has to stay general.
Being to specific can ruin the results.
And keyword or phrase has to always be at the beginning of this search string.
