Hedir Review : Define HEDir!

If i request you to describe hedir how would you describe it? A webmaster forum, a directory, a general forum ....anything else?

I have a reason for asking this. We already have category forums for all categories in the directory, so that essentially makes it an all encompassing forum. But the core group of our community still largely consists of webmasters. So in essence it is a webmaster forum, though i cannot bring myself to define it that way!

What are your views on this?

well it has two purposes.

For persons looking for a good site to visit it would be a Directory.
For myself it's a Review Forum

The intent of Hedir as I understand it to be would make it a Directory site with only the best of sites listed.
The behind the scenes reviwers who help review sites to build that great directory come in hopes to make a difference to that directory, which in turn usually develops into webmasters who know what they are looking at to review a site well.

Don't you love it when someone doesn't give a straight answer? hehe

I think "Hedir is a point of informative resources with well experienced community in the directory world".

I will coin this term: Social Reviewed Directory

Social: There is community involvement. Even thou we need more.
Reviewed: Reviewing is the main requirement to be "active"
Directory: Fundatmentally, Hedir is a Directory. It is in the name brothers and sisters.

Basically, it's a directory that doesn't focus so much on quantity as it does on quality. If you make it here, you deserved to. If you didn't...well, you know you need to do some work.

Personally, I believe it's an acid test of sorts as to the overall quality of a site. It's very difficult to get 10 criticisms, positive or negative, when it comes to a site. And to get 10 or more positives...well...that's something in and of itself.
