DRoster creates, manages, automates businesses/organizations' shifts, work schedules, rosters, availability times, employee replacement, absences, vacation days, job descriptions and schedule validations to prevent clashes.
DRoster is a unique employee scheduler in that it is not an add-on feature but a complete comprehensive stand-alone employee scheduling software. DRoster has an intuitive easy-to-use interface, simulating how scheduling admins typically schedule manually. It includes out-of-the-box reports to give managers an overview of their organizations' deployment and up-to-the-minute scheduling needs, enhanced with report export via email or any other format.
Kappix provides DRoster scheduler along with support at no cost at its website.
Kappix is a young, up and coming software company. Unlike other 'free' software providers, its software is truly fully functional and unlimited in time. It aims to have as many people try out its software and its Research and Development team relies on users' feedback and suggestions in developing DRoster.

Finally, something worth looking at. A site that focuses on its users with something original and a pretty cool product at that.
The site is clean and easy to navigate. It would be nice if the layout were tableless, but it still works in its present incarnation. The screen caps are helpful (although you may want to put them as screen captures inside of pages to allow for consistent navigation...just a thought.)
The only thing stopping me from recommending this site outright is the fixed-size font. Users in IE won't be able to resize it if it's too small for them.
On hold, pending a fix of that issue. _________________ HEDir's Prince of Cool
Offered screenshots and a viewable demo of how to use the software
Very inviting offer on site:
Software allows use up to 300 shifts and then also allows shifts to be deleted for continual use.
Suggestion: Site does need to change the contact page to a form rather than just an email address or add a ticket system.
Needs fixed:
http://www.kappix.com redirects to http://www.kappix.com/home.htm
If you are going to have home.htm as your opening page then you should have this added as a default filename to the server as is index.html and a few others on unix.
Recommended
I would still like to hear why the redirect is there
I was originaly going to put it on hold but had the misfortune of having "yes" checked beforehand.

Melkor: they haven't been fixed. But then that's probably my bad for not explaining clearly.
In IE, the inability to resize fonts still exists, so my vote's still on hold (and I did review it but if Nancy wants me to babble on some more I can. ) _________________ HEDir's Prince of Cool
The reason I look at it in IE is because that's what the vast majority still use. So you stick with what's #1 and fix them first, and worry about the others after. At least that's how I do things. _________________ HEDir's Prince of Cool
We looked into the resizable fonts issue in IE. We are thinking of redoing them in ems. Still working on it. If you have suggestions as to how to best fix those fonts, we're open to your suggestions.
