While others extend their business online, I am thinking of extending my site to offline audience. This does not mean that my online marketing efforts did not work, but I should try to see if I could do well with captivating readers offline to read my site online. Well, the question is... is this appropriate? If it is, then what kind of offline marketing effort will I use? Thanks! _________________ http://onlinepr.gbwatch.com/
Well nothing is impossible. You can do it, you can explore all the possible channels to run your business successfully, get your mission done on time.
For offline marketing you can try the following:
1) Local newspapers add,
2) TV adds.
3) You can have T-shirt with your site name for your company people. (Silly but effective)
4) Press release.
5) Local banner adds (If possible in your local territory)
6) Hand notes.
7) Sponsor local sports, fashion events and market yourself.
You know your market better than anyone however I think these factors can help you.
Oh, oooh! Got something for you! This article - and quite possibly the rest in the business:marketing category - I try to sort offline and general marketing into there.
Another one I've heard of is to use the bulleting boards in local shops, dunno how effective that is though - and customised licence plates or placing your url on your car... _________________

When marketing offline, it can get very expensive very fast. The first thing you really need to think about is what you are marketing. Some things lend themselves better for different vehicles of marketing. You have to try to see what you will invest to what you will get back, and try to forecast ahead of time if its worth it or is it a longshot. I would say really think it over, because with print or offline marketing campaigns, there are more things involved and usually overlooked. What are you trying to market offline? _________________ - Nomad111 -
