I never knew it was called a "tag cloud". I had to look it up.
It is very interesting the way it uses the words in a page like that.
I was looking it over at http://www.petefreitag.com/item/396.cfm
I'll have to play with it tomorrow to see how it works and if it really has a use.
Usage of tag clouds are increasing day by day and sites like technorati, revver.com are using it for quite a while now. _________________ We > Me > I .. its true !!

As it is a new idea to me, so I can't give you a fair idea, about how it will benefit your site. But you just need to go through the following sites. May be there you can get the idea how the sites are benefitted by using this "cloudtag". So the sites are:
1) flickr.com (a photo sharing site),
2) technorati.com (a blog search engine),
3) ebaydig.com,
4) wired.com .
