Hi Baggeroli

Well, ultimately for the real thing. Apparently it does not need to be setup on linux servers, but our server down here in SA is windows. My manager down here tried setting up apache2 to run it, but apparently is getting error 400. Is there a step by step procedure to follow?

Hi Brett,

Not sure why its not running, but you can check for 2-3 things :-
  • Is there ISS installed earlier? If yes, then check for any process running related to web server or services. If running stop that.
  • Check if any service running for Apache. If not, make the startup type as automatic and run it.
  • If there is no service for Apache, then you may need to reinstall it once again.

Hope this may help you.

Josh

Let's see, server response code 400:
Quote:
Bad Request — there is a syntax error in the request, and it is denied.

Hmmm, wouldn't this mean the server is running and the problem is at the client-side? I presume you've ruled that out (http://localhost/)?
