I found this site www.checkpagerank.com as a good tool for page rank checker.

www.webconfs.com/anchor-text-analysis.php checks the back link of your domain and reports the anchor text used by your Backlinks to Link to Your Website. Laughing

Here is one more tool to check the PR. I found www.prchecker.net/index.php recently along with www.prchecker.net/articles/directories.html This is a list of free directories with a PageRank of atleast 5. Seems good Laughing

There are many tools available online but I think using any software is more beneficial as you have always the logs of everything. Try WebCEO software. This software can be used in free form and still does a lot of things.

I tried this one and found only 4 backlinks. This site has been around forever, and I have personally posted it into numerous directories (DMOZ, JoeAnt, Skaffe, Illumirate, WebBeacon, Mavicanet, UncoverTheNet, SearchWarp at minimum). None but Mavicanet show up on this list.

Does someone know why these directories are not being picked up by the backlink checker?

Thanks for any ideas.
