I admit that i deviated from the original model i forwarded to you. But i have tried to keep it simple and user friendly. Check it out and decide for yourself.

There will be some bugs. Help us find those.

First suggestion fr change.. Make the URL links to the submitted sites open a new browser.. In fact, make the all open new browsers..

No of reviews by submitter isn't correct. It's 1 for all.

No of unique reviews isn't correct: the submission itself is counted too.

Follow up quesiton.. How often is the list updated?? I just reviewed the first thing in the list and went back and refreshed the beta page and it did not update with the new vote..

Expect for this to be a very popular thread. Many ideas just running through our heads on how to make this as productive as possible. It is much easier to see what options it may need now that it is usable and functioning.

1. an option for ascending or decending the listing choice chosen.
( I know that's an option in a mysql query)
I like to get my lists starting with the higher numbers starting for options.
Right now its reverse of that.

I'll give you time to go over the ideas that have been posted already before I add anything else.

so the review centre (beta) phase-1 is almost complete. There are still some bugs i am getting. I am working on it. I am concentrating to make it complete, somehow lakhya made it up in the production. Twisted Evil

HD is still fixing some bugs, so i will answer only those i am aware that has been taken care of.

Its fixed now.

As soon as you vote or review it will be reflected on the list. You just need to refresh your brower

Total thread points = hedir points of the submitter+hedir points of the reviewers

It is already there. Just click on a header. Ascending or descending order arrow will appear below the clicked header.

Yes I know it's hedir points of the submitter+hedir points of the reviewers , but what's the benefit if you have the votes count and no of reviews already?

It looks like a nice start, so far. But since you asked for feedput, you're gonna get it.

"Category" is misspelled in the list at the top.

The table headers should be in bold and, ideally, a different colour. Perhaps either the rows or columns should be as well?

This needs some recordset paging. Either break it up into sections of 10, 25, 50 or 100 (ideally, let the user pick and save it as a preference).

For the forum link, rather than list the actual URL, why not just have something like:

More thoughts:

1) When first clicking on "No. of Reviews by Submitter", this should be sorted in descending order by default. This way, the guys who deserve to get reviewed first will.

2) I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I get the number of reviews sorted, I notice that there are a whole buttload of 'em from "submission". Is this all the same user? Or is this different people using "submission" as the name?

3) I'm seeing sites I already reviewed and voted on in this section. For example, in one of the "submission" ones (http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about1443.html), I was the first one to recommend it yet I still see it.

4) Is there a way for the mods to see the IP of the submission upfront, and possibly sort by it? This would help isolate spammers a bit better.

5) For everyone: the user name would be nice, too. This way, we can see if it's someone like samlewis or francesco who helps other people out in the spirit of the board, or someone like "info" who could be anyone.

Let me know when you get some of the kinks worked out, dude. It's a nice start, but she needs a bit o' spit and polish.
