Hedir Review : Seeking for specific software

Hi All,

I've been searching on the net for a specific software but I am not sure if it exists.

I need a software that would allow me to write articles but also has the functions of creating directories and indexes for search purposes should I end up writing thousands of articles and such. I can hire a programmer to do this but too much money. I thought there must be something out there by now that would give me such capabilities. I don't need anything fancies but simple would do really. I also want it to be user friendly.

RSS feeds is nice but not exactly what I am looking for really...but close though. The idea is basically there.

Am I making sense or this software does not exist.

CAn anyone give me some inputs?

Hi Emma, I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but check out Melkor's site: http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about13164.html. It's an article directory and I believe he uses Article Dashboard.

Let me play with this and see how we can incorporated this into our site. It is closed to what I am thinking though.... If I cannot find anything else, I think I will make this work for now.

Thanks for the efforts. We played with it and turned out that it is meant for LInux server. We have Windows server.
