I find this baffling - what is going on? I don't think that they were approved for this cat originally.

Hedir went through many phases and we are still changing many things. Next month we will be taking a break from development and concentrate on quality control.

None of those sites were approved for that cat intentionally These sites have all been approved recently (within the last few weeks) and my guess is there is a bug in the code that redirected them out of their submitted cats into this one.
Feel free to post anything you find into the forum so it can be addressed.

When sites are in the Approval/Rejection list, there is an option to change the category they were originally submitted to. THe default in the box is "Performing Arts", and if you just click on the Accept button, the newly-accepted site is moved to Performing Arts.
sorry I was busy with some other stuff. I am looking into this problem. writergrrrl I think you are right, the category drop down menu is not working properly. I am correcting this. I will inform you after making it proper.
Regarding the sites listed in wrong directories, I am coordinating with Anthony to shift them in proper directories.

I have checked the code and modified some part of it. But what I find is something else.
Earlier we used to accept site submission in the top level category. Now we accept sites in second level and deeper level categories only. So when a site (submitted in second or next level) is approved from the approval centre the category drop down shows the selected category. That time site approval and listing in that category works properly. But a site, submitted in top level category has to go in deeper level category at the time of approval, that time the drop down can't find the proper category. Drop down show Performing Art as the category as it's the first category appearing there. So at the time of approval moderators has to be little careful about the category.
As a note to remember : while approving a site, the category appears in the drop down menu is the listing category for the site.
Dear moderators, to help you out in this regards, I have modified the section such that if a site submitted in the top level category, in the approval centre you will get a note written in red color (to catch your attention ) and by default no category will be selected. I hope this will help you to workout better in this section.
