increasing site's quality might help.. and do u have chaning content, i mean google loves when u have chaning content (u dont have to do it so often).... and some.. uhm... if u had so much pagerank i think u've done a lot of marketing and u might even paid for it... do some more marketing.. though im not sure wether it will help or not _________________ My site also wants some reviews http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about15925.html#41703

PR is a playtoy invented to keep site owners/webmasters away from working on their site with things that really help their site. Put PR out of your mind and work on everything else that matters. Like functionality, good content and a little SEO.
Amen to that. I guess it struck a chord with me since I am so computer illiterate. I wouldn't know a 404 error from a pop-up or a redicrect. What I do know is I use the internet like I think most people do...for information, good content and ease of use. You may have all the flashing signs, animation and banners to use on your pages....haha. Content does not help in PR directly, I got PR 6 with just one link. You can get PR 9 with just one link. I hope the old formula still works, (n-1) one.

Do not listen to experts and keep working on PR, as the best way to learn is from your own mistakes. Do you have another site for bread and butter?

Some advice from my side too,
Interlink your pages well, get links from High PR pages, Submit to directories, buy ads, .. these were the lessons many learned for a greener line. we don't go for link exchange. Only what we do that is directory submission, article submission and regular content updation. We do have our BM features. In BM Times we update contents regularly and RSS as well. We have submitted our site map in google in xml file. This is what our SEO approach.
Is that sufficient or we are lacking some where. Also I am confused that why google not showing all the backlinks where article had submitted or web directory used for my site submission.

Good only shows a sample of total links, till mid 2004 google use to show all links but after that they started showing only a sample (may be as they do not want to support link building). from 2004 SEO world started using alltheweb.com till very recent. Now a days SEO world use yahoo for link checking.
Exclusive Hedir Advice : Do not check yahoo backlinks when you are logged in to yahoo account, same for google. Also do not check backlinks regularly. Do SEO activities and then restart your dialup connection to get a new IP. Uninstall all the toolbars. Clear cookies after every SEO activities. I generally do not offer such depths. This is only for Hedir members.
Dose it mean if you want high PR you have to buy good links?
"Do not buy the links if they are selling else you can buy". If I am not clear you can ask. I am available for Hedir exclusively.

Hi,
These days I come across many forums where people talk about the value of directory listings from the search engine point of view - is it really helpful ?
Also some of my friends suggest its better not to submit your sites to the directories with the words free, seo friendly, etc. in their domains and also meta keywords like reciprocal, seo friendly, link exchange, etc.
Could you please let me know whether these are only myths or there is any truth behind these.
