That's interesting, I wonder why the numbers for Google and Yahoo are so different

Google doesn't list all backlinks as they did a long time ago. They use to around 2001 or maybe 2002

backlink data isn't to be trusted as a goal number to set for yourself as it used to be back then.

Alexa data is just as bad considering they have no access to your sites real stats.

All this is interesting to look at for fun but never use it as exact figures.
