Hi friends,
I am very much worried about my site, which would be launch soon. That's why I am trying to find information on all marketing related websites.
I think you all are well known to Myspace. Regarding this site, I have only one query i.e. does this site give space to promote a site? I don't think it has SEO value.
There is a place in your personal profile to list your web sites and Google does crawl them, but as to overall value I can't say for sure. _________________ Do you recommend oakgroveoutfitters.com?
I personally think MySpace is utter rubbish. But they fad caught on.
Because some of my clients use myspace - I had to try and understand a lil bit more of that mess.
For example - you have to watch out about links as sometimes it becomes SEO-unfriendly (a redirect) and sometimes through some hack involved it turns SEO friendly.
I am sure there are ways of using MySpace to your advantage, provided the business is somewhat related to the Media Industry, specially music.
Exactly how to go about that - it's something I (reluctantly) will have to find out myself.
anyway I am there myspace.com/henrygilbert

there must be a hack as I've seen others doing it before.
this guy did it somehow:

I don't even think that Myspace has any value at all other than being there for teenagers and making ugly coded pages. That is just my opinion though.
The only to things you can do as far as SEO for Myspace is the profile name you choose to use, the text on the page and links. You might have a better chance with the blog section where you can control the text value a bit better.

I mean it's really obvious and easy to fix so sooner or later myspace will discover.
so i am in two minds over publishing it here or letting people know if they P.M me
the hack is stupidly simple. it took me days trawling the net to find out what it was.
and only 1 post on a forum told me of the easiest solution. _________________ "I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, ...very hard to explain why you're mad..."
