BADDESCR:
REJECT-BY-REVIEW:
- A site that got mostly not recommendation by the reviewer.
AFFIL:
- A site that has direct relation with another site and prospers through these links or clickthroughs,
e.g. http://www.ephedrashoppe.com/ .
Note: branches where these kind of sites are very common: pharmacy, weight-loss, credit cards, loans, debt consolidation, mortgage.
NON-ENGLISH:
- A site which doesn't provide an English alternative for all the main pages. Off course the term "main" is arbitrary so use common sense or ask another moderator. Try to use the site's language instead of the NON-ENGLISH tag. So if the site is in Spanish, call it SPANISH. When in doubt, call it NON-ENGLISH. This is for possible future addition of language based sub-categories,
e.g. http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about12735.html .
GAMBLING:
- A site which is about gambling, offers on-line gambling slots or has links to gambling related sites,
e.g. http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about13034.html .
ADULT:
- A site which has any adult content or has links to sites with any adult content. There's still no consensus about what's considered to be adult (especially applies to lingerie sites) so use common sense or when in doubt ask other moderators/reviewers,
e.g. http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about12555.html .
SUB-DOMAIN:
- The submitted URL is part of a larger domain, seperated by dots. For example: news.cnn.com is a sub-domain of cnn.com. A sub-domain is different from a deep-link because a deep-link is a page of a domain, seperated with a slash. For example: www.hedir.com/arts.html,
e.g. http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about12556.html .
DEEP-LINK:
Note: it's no longer possible to submit a deep link.
DOWN:
SITES-NETWORK:
- Site is not the main site but a sub-site of the parent site. For example: the main site is a manufacturer of widgets and set up a site for blue widgets, a site for red widgets, one for white widgets, black widgets etc. Sites don't necessarily link to each other,
e.g. http://www.hedir.com/groupthink/about5976.html .
POP-UP:
JUNKSUBMIT:
- Submitter didn't use the submit form but just posted the submission in a forum,
e.g. http://www.hedir.com/free-submission/about16509.html .
1-PAGE:
UNDER-CONSTR:
- A site that is not finished or seems to be missing a few things that make it a completed website or missing functionality.
Example: A site with pages that are blank or many things missing that should obviously be there.
Note: Not to be confused with the rejection title for a 1-PAGE site.
MIRROR:
- A site that is simply a replication of another site.
