Hi all,
Is there any way to get a new site indexed faster by SE's? Though, I am aware of the following facts:
1) Getting a site indexed into Google, just by getting links pointing to your site that are on other sites and are already crawled by Google on a regular basis.
2) Having good contents and nice clean codes.
3) Submitting a sitemap to Google, in xml format.
But those are time consuming and also have to wait for weeks.

Hassle verses submitting:
Submitting will get you included. There is a but to this though.
But you will not stay listed unless you have links pointing to you. Its kind of like a trial period to see if you plan on making something out of your site. If there isn't enough interest and links pointing to your site then you will vanish again. I would choose the Hassle approach. Do the work to get listed on relevent sites, directories, etc.

2) Having good contents and nice clean codes.
That would be a plus for your visitors as well. If the search engine can crawl your content "with clean code" then sure it would be a good idea.
The same as Froogle asks for each product to be in its own table and other criteria when yout pages are crawled. They know what they are looking for and being sure you never over seo a page just for a search engine.

3) Submitting a sitemap to Google, in xml format
I've heard this one stated both ways as good and negative. Myself I havn't seen any ill effects. Will it get you listed faster? I've not used it enough to know yet. I'll have to pass that one on to someone else to answer.
1) and 2) tend to be better. I've personally found that XHTML code (or at least code with tableless layouts) tends to get indexed faster, more accurately, and more effectively than traditional table-based layouts.
I can't speak on 3) either. I've never had reason to use it. _________________ HEDir's Prince of Cool

Get a link from a website where google bot visits regularly. This will help you get a faster indexing. Get many links like this and you will be there on SERP. _________________ http://www.idealwebtools.com/blog/orkut-banned-india/ - Orkut getting a ban in India, why? Is it fair?
