PanoramicEarth.com contains interactive maps with panoramic images of over 50 locations from around the world. This is an ongoing work and will continue to expand during 2006. The flagship tours are currently London, Hawaii Big Island and Mallorca, each of which contain over 100 panoramic images of the sights, attractions, beaches and other places of interest. The Hawaii tour also contains an extensive collection of images of Volcano National Park. In some cases images contain links to local websites where appropriate. The site also contains images and information about a growing number of skiing locations in Europe, where the pages show a piste map with panoramic images linked to it. During 2006 the collection is expected to expand. Additions will include Cambridge in the UK and at least 6 other major European cities including Barcelona, Paris, Vienna, Prague and an update on Rome. We also intend to investigate ways for 3rd parties to contribute their own images to the collection. Naturally we will be happy to discuss the creation of a tour of any location, whether we take the images ourselves or are provided with them.
