Updated the Looks: Why not constrain the site a bit more so it doesn't stretch at the full width of the screen? Use a slightly off-white background color. I suggest grey/silver, after all it's made of metal. A tad more padding. Great point, as of today, the main pages of the website are resized to 80% of the page, and added 3 points padding in between the cells. baggeroli thanks for pointing it out, I like the new look ! Once the new logo is complete, I am going to try to change the background to slightly of the white, but I think the site looks terrific even now. What do you think? Content: updated the content, and added a four step "killer" do it yourself roofing estimate guide for the homeowner! No matter who, no matter where, a homeowner will be able to get a ballpark price figure for the anticipated roof replacement before they even talk to a roof contractor. I firmly believe in giving people tools and empowering them. This particular roofing estimator guide I have added, will not only teach the homeowner to calculate the roof size, but it will also arm the homeowner with the knowledge of what their roof area coverage size really is that they won't get taken advantage off. I say take care of the users and educate them. I also added a little interactivity to that guide by enabling users to vote for this post on "digg" and post their comments. I truly believe that this particular guide should provide some really useful information for the homeowners facing a re-roofing job, anywhere in the U.S. While I was at it I decided to provide some of the actual price examples for roofing projects done around New England area. So I made a page on the actual/real market roofing prices of a few projects that I was a part of in one way or another, and I think I did a decent job of presenting the roof prices in an easy analytical way, so that homeowners can learn and gain from the valuable market knowledge that is hard to find. As for the future updates that are coming soon, I will be uploading the pictures of the some of metal roofing jobs that we did, and some IB flat roof job pictures. I am also talking to php/java programmer that will help me create an interactive online roofing calculator, which will enable the homeowner to get a ball park roofing estimate figure by just entering the numbers. So there is still a whole lot of stuff in the works, but I believe that the site is now sufficiently good and informative to be an asset to this directory.
