The both Webalizer and Google analytics show some increase my site's traffic for last three months. Despite it the Alexa ranking drops dramatically from 1.100.000 to 2.200.000 .What is the cause?

doesn't alexa depend on people using alexa toolbar? Maybe you just had visitors that weren't using it

well in less than 1 month my rank in alexa was about 9 million and is now about 3 million, so how does that work ???

its what consumerism said... the whole idea with alexas traffic ranking has to do solely with the number of people with their toolbar who visit varying sites... there major oversite is that barely anyone on the web uses there toolbar so there is no truly fair way to rank someone based on that... they should pull their heads out of the ground and work on a better system for traffic ranks....

so where would the best place be to get a more acurate traffic rank ?

id go with google or the webalizer as mentioned originally by roksolona... i however do not know much about traffic rankings i just know about alexa from previous experiene and in fact using their toolbar for a brief time...
