There are huge lists of paid web directories available on the net. But I am confused which one to choose. Almost every directory says that their website will help rank well and also bring traffic. I heard yahoo is good but my budget is not allowing me to go for that. Guys, would you recommend any other web directory, which you feel good and would be under my budget. Help would be appreciated.

When you are looking forward to submitting your site to directories there are some important points to remember.

ROI - The return on investment for the particular directory. Like you mentioned to submit your site to yahoo directory for 299$ you have to actually gauge the probable return from it by the amount of visitor referal it will send you.

Link - Whether the directory is a quality one and the best way to judge is to check the sites listed in the different categories.

These are a few important things to keep in mind.
